The ESCI (Education Support Centres Ireland) and the Teaching Council are co-hosting a series of three workshops for teachers interested in harnessing the power of professional learning to support their needs. The workshops are facilitated by practising teachers and will provide opportunities for schools to learn from each other through reflective conversations that are underpinned by Cosán, the National Framework for Teachers’ Learning. Facilitators will provide helpful tools and strategies to support teachers and school leaders in the development of flexible, autonomous, and context-relevant professional learning experiences for all.
Primary Schools are invited to nominate three staff members (including one middle or senior leader) to engage in the workshops.
Please note that each staff member wishing to participate in this series of 3 workshops will need to register individually for the workshops
Please note these workshops are online
Dates: Tuesday 25th October, 22nd November and 17th January - 7.00pm to 9.00pm
To ensure maximum flexibility for participants, some Education Centres will collaborate to co-host workshops, with one Education Centre offering in-person workshops while partnered Education Centres will offer online workshops only. Teachers attending from the same school are strongly encouraged to attend workshops in the same Education Centre and delivery mode.
Workshops will be hosted by 18 Education Centres across the country and bookings can be made directly through the participating Education Centres. For full workshop schedule, visit www.esci.ie
