The Middle Leader – a Key Member of the School Community
Target Group: Teachers who currently hold or aspire to positions of leadership in post-primary schools.
Tutor: Harry Freeman - Harry is the Leader of the Positive Behaviour Management strand of Masters in Education Programme in Trinity College.
The course will address the following themes:
- Defining Middle Leadership
- Models of Leadership and their application
- Establishing and creating a vision for the role of middle leader
- Leading teams
- Planning
- Managing meetings
- Managing conflict
- Preparing for Interviews
The course will have a practical focus and will provide opportunities for participants to engage in discussion and share good practice.
