Caring for our Wellbeing SHEP

Course description

Caring for Our Well-Being - SHEP

As a teacher, you care for others, but you make little time to focus on yourself and your well-being. This course will give you an opportunity to learn how to care better for you.

This course uses an experiential group work approach.

Course content:

  • Explore dimensions of well-being, what supports and undermines well-being?
  • How do I know when I’m well?
  • What helps me stay well?
  • What happens to me when I’m feeling stresses and destressed?
  • What can I do about it?

The course will also involve fun, nourishing activities which support your well-being and support your engagement with the SSE Six-Step Process.

This course will be facilitated by Noreen Leahy and Geraldine O’Connell from SHEP (Social and Health Education Project).

The venue for this course is The Social and Health Education Project, Village Chambers, The Village Centre, Ballincollig, Co. Cork.
