The European Space Education Office (ESERO) Ireland, and Discover Primary Science & Maths

5-day professional development course at CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory from 4th to 8th July.

The objective of the course is to assist participants in using teaching approaches that develop numeracy skills in an integrated way across the curriculum for junior classes. This course will use space as a cross-curricular theme and develop skills in many curricular areas. The course will have an emphasis on inquiry based learning and provide opportunities to apply skills and knowledge to real life situations. School Self Evaluation aims will be covered with an emphasis on evaluating and developing Science Skills

Suitable for Teachers of Junior Level to 2nd class.

All our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable. Course Fees are not transferrable to another teacher. Unfortunately, if you wish to cancel your place on one of our courses or you are unable to attend the course, we are not in a position to refund fees.

 

In the event that the minimum number of participants required do not apply then the Centre will be obliged to cancel the course and all monies will be refunded in full.
