During this engaging and interactive one-hour workshop, we will embark on a journey through a curated selection of our micro:bit resources, revealing the exciting possibilities they hold for your club. We understand that navigating the world of coding can be daunting, so we've tailored this workshop to provide you with a supportive and encouraging environment.

Darren Bayliss- Community Coordinator will introduce you to fundamental skills essential for micro:bit, ensuring you have a solid foundation to build upon. Through clear and concise explanations, you'll gain insights into the core concepts of micro:bit, such as coding blocks, sprites, and variables.

To further enhance your learning experience, we'll guide you through a carefully chosen project in the form of a codealong. Step by step, we'll work together to create a captivating micro:bit project, providing you with hands-on experience and the opportunity to apply your newfound skills in real-time. 

Throughout the workshop, we'll encourage you to ask questions and share your ideas with fellow participants, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. Our goal is to equip you with the confidence to take your newfound micro:bit skills back to your club and inspire your members.
