"Our School Chess Club" and is for teachers with some experience of chess. It can also be attended by beginners who are learning the basics on course 1 "chess 4 fun".

Both courses will address how to use chess as an educational tool.

For this year’s tutorials Comhar Linn have agreed to supply each teacher a free chess set for their own use.

In addition, they can also provide all school students with free membership of chessossity.com, which is a student resource that allows students to develop and grow their thinking skills at their own pace.

• Course for teachers want some more fun chess activities and expertise to help their players develop their thinking skills.  

  ·        Training software, Chessossity.com for students.

  ·        Motivational activities and events.

  ·        Show players how to win.

  ·        Select a school chess team.

  ·        Play a challenge match. 

Our School Chess Club Course Dates:

Part 1: Monday 5th October - 8pm to 8.45pm.

Part 2: Monday 19th October - 8pm to 8.45pm.

Part 3: Monday 9th November - 8pm to 8.45pm.
