Learning Outcomes:

Participants will deepen their familiarity with the text and analyse connections between the three key strands of theme, character and imagery.

• Gain strategies for guiding students to understand how these elements work together to creat meaning
• Enable students to select appropriate textual references to support their arguments
• Support students to use this textual reference in a format that can be applied to other areas of Leaving Cert English.
