Gearóid O’Brien is a teacher of French, CSPE and History in CBC Cork and lectures in CSPE pedagogy for the PME in UCC. He is an advisor on CSPE and Politics and Society with the Teaching Council. He is the author of the CSPE textbook Call to Action with Gill Education and co-author of the forthcoming A Teacher's Handbook on Global Citizenship Education in the Post-Primary Classroom: A Practical Guide for Teachers with Oak Tree Press.
