National Centre for Technology in Education
The National Centre for Technology in Education (NCTE) is the Government's agency on the use of information and communications technology (ICT) in education.
The NCTE plays a central role in helping to maximise the benefits for learners and teachers in using ICT.
At local level ICT advisors play a key role in supporting the use of ICT in schools. There is a network of 20 regionally based ICT advisors - one located in each of the full-time education centres.
