Discover Sensors
Supporting investigative learning in Junior Science
- The Discover Sensors project supports the use of sensor technology in hands-on scientific investigations for Junior Science students.
- A pilot project involving 100 teachers from 48 schools throughout Ireland began in Autumn 2006.
- The project is led by Discover Science & Engineering in partnership with the Junior Science Support Service, the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment and the National Centre for Technology in Education.
- In September 2007 the project is extending the pilot to include 150 schools. Your school can become part of this exciting project by registering your interest with Discover Science and Engineering.
